Mylicia Allen, a first generation Licensed Barber Stylist (2009), hair expert, and innovator is the owner and operator of Mane Couture Salon & Boutique(2012).

Starting at the young age of 14 with a passion for braiding and hair styling, Mylicia quickly discovered her passion in the World of Beauty. After graduating from high school and attending college Mylicia decided to follow her heart and pursue hair care. She enrolled at Arkansas College of Barbering and Hair Design located in North Little Rock, Arkansas.

Mylicia honed her craft over the years in natural hair care, braiding, weaving, and general hair styling. Continuously seeking knowledge on how to better serve her clients, Mylicia has attended many classes and won several awards. She’s had the pleasure of working with other stylist to stay connected with many industry experts by joining Star Status team in 2011; also winning 1st place at the Texas International Hair Show. Mylicia has been a featured Stylist in Salon Digest magazine(2012). After spending several years working in a salon but wanting to spend more time expanding her brand, Mylicia decided to venture off.

With an artistic eye, an industrious spirit, and a little edge, Mylicia has succeeded in launching Mane Couture Salon & Boutique as a destination for high-quality hair care and fashion. “Our team is incredibly talented and brings a young, fresh approach to beauty,” she said. “Everyone has their own sense of style which they infuse into their technique. We create looks that range from the classic to edgy – and everything in between!”.
